CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY - INTRODUCTION

Psychology is defined as

What we saw above was all about psychology only. Clinical Psychology is the integration of the psychological principles 
  • to understand, prevent and relieve mind-based distress or dysfunction and 
  • to promote subjective well being and personal development.
Understood thus, clinical psychologists can work in 
  • Mental Hsotpitals
  • Juvenile Courts
  • Mental Health Clinics
  • Institutions for the mentally retarded
  • Prison
  • university or
  • medical colleges.
