Medicine to cure diseases???

According to doctors almost all diseases are caused by germs and heredity. Therefore they offer drugs to kill germs or to correct hereditary deficiencies and surgery to correct deformities.

But the question is "do germs cause disease?"

If germs really cause disease - why is it that only some people are affected and others remain healthy? Even within a family, only some are affected by chicken pox  or by swine flu or even common cold - while others remain healthy.  WHY? Are germs partial to some people? Do the germs have a liking for some people alone?

Louis Pasteur "discovered" germ theory. In one of his famous experiments to prove that germs do exist - he placed a lamb's leg on a table and let it rot. After a few days, the meat was filled with maggots (worms). Pasteur's conclusion was "these germs were not inside the lamb's leg - therefore it must have come from air".

His contemporary Antoine Bechamp - did a similar experiment. But instead of placing the lamb's leg in open air, he placed it inside a vacuum container. After a few days - there were maggots in this vacuum too. Thus he proved that the germs DID NOT COME FROM AIR,  In one intelligent experiment he showed the world that Louis Pasteur was wrong.

But did the world accept his view?  NO.

Why? Because the powerful pharma industry saw a huge benefit in pasteur's germ theory - by way of selling drugs to clean the air, kill the germs, patented drugs, different treatment protocols for different germs etc... Who cares about health my dear... its all about money.

Acupuncture treatment is affordable - and that is exactly why people do not believe in it. I have had a patient - who was undergoing dialysis for two years. His urination had stopped - means he did not pass urine at all for two years - the dialysis machine cleaned out his urine from his blood.  After just three ACUPUNCTURE sittings, he started urinating in drops - in his own words "i could not believe... is this thing mine? - its a miracle".  Total cost for these three sittings were a mere Rs. 1500/= Each dialysis cost him about rs 4000 and he had done 300 sessions until then. He was happy with the treatment... but his relatives came from London and they scolded him left and right. "u r an educated person... y r u believing in such nonsense - u better go to the doctor and continue your dialysis" - the patient despite knowing that acupuncture was working - went for dialysis. This is how much brain washing that allopathy does. We are not able to even think of other systems of medicine. We are not able to believe results even when we see them.

I had another patient - a lady 49 years old - who had piles - and got operated for it in a well known hospital. But after the operation, in a few weeks, her hands and legs started becoming black - and within two months - the entire area started itching - and since she used her finger nails to scratch - there was bleeding and oozing too. At this point, I was called in. I examined her - understood her body condition - and my prognosis was that this is curable. I promised the lady in front of her parents that this can be cured - easily - but it will take three months. The lady innocently asked "will i become fair?" I jovially replied "not fair - but your previous colour only" we did three sittings only - once every two weeks. After that they saw so much improvement that they stopped calling me. After three months - i called up to follow up on my promise. The father and the daughter came to my clinic - and thanked me. There was close to 90% improvement. I was happy and disappointed at the same time. Happy because she is on the verge of being well - disappointed because she was not completely cured. Again total cost for this entire cure was a mere Rs 1500/= only (500 per session). A single visit to any dermatologist would have cost more than this.

Get healed. Germs are real - but the fighting power of our individual bodies is much more real and mighty. Do not fear. Seek alternate medical views to get well. Dont believe only in allopathy which cannot cure even common cold.

As Hippocrates, "the father of medicine" observed 2400 years ago, "Nature is the physician of man." Hippocrates also advised, "Leave your drugs in the chemist`s pots if you can cure your patient with food."

Though mainstream medicine might have us believe otherwise, the simple truth is that no one ever became ill due to a deficiency in pharmaceutical drugs. Lack of nutrition combined with exposure to toxins is what causes us to become ill.

Someday, germ theory and unnatural drugs will be relegated to the science junk pile where they belong and man will re-discover the value of eating a nutrient-dense organic diet, avoiding toxins and nutritional deficiencies and living a healthy lifestyle. When that happens, the words of Thomas Edison may prove to be a welcome prophesy:

"The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease."

So what to do?  Are we expected to lie down and die? Should we not do something immediately? What to do?

1. Do not panic. You have a very small window of consciousness left ( maximum of 10 seconds) Do not waste it by panicking.

2. Press the sides of your nail in either hand's little finger (pinky). It might pain - but it is better to bear this pain than dying. 

 This is a very effective point in anyone to restore consciousness and to make the heart function normally - even in case of emergencies. This point can be used in cases of rhythmia, tachycardia or even bradycardia... u name a heart condition - this point will be useful.

After you stabilize, please visit an acupuncturist - and get well without paying heftily. This is the most important point. Whats the use of living if doctors take away all your life's savings? therefore, get treated by an acupuncturist and get well at about 10% of the cost.

Tanjore Temple has stood the test of time for more than thousand years!!! And it is still standing.... without any support maintenance...

And the MOST wonderful feat is that this entire temple is built without any binding material. It is built fully by interlocking stones.  Even today - can you imagine building a normal house without cement or any other binding material? Can we build a 13 story building without using cement or rods? But we have built this huge 216 feet temple without such materials almost a thousand years ago. Compared to this, even our modern architecture seems primitive!!!

Over the last thousand years - this structure has withstood all of nature's fury - a is still standing strong as a reminder of our great legacy.

I have no intention of belittling anyone - i am not trying to say that others do not have talent... all that i am trying to show is that tamilians have a glorious past that had deep scientific roots.

Our system of medicine - SIDDHA - is more than 5000 years old. Even when new diseases like chickengunya and swine flu swept parts of India - siddha medicines were available to save lives. (Please do not ask where all the so called "western doctors" were hiding during such diseases)

Our system of keeping fit and seeking God - YOGA - is very ancient. Aryans stole this system and are claiming it as their own. Yogam is a pure tamil word. Aryans claim that it came from the word "Yuj" You be the judge and decide which one is more closer to yoga "yogam" or "yuj". (idakalai has meaning in tamil - whereas the stolen word - renamed as "idagala" has NO MEANING in hindi or sanskrit. "suzhu munai" has meaning in tamil - whereas it has absolutely no meaning when it is said as "shushumuna". Unable to pronounce tamil's proprietary sound "zh" - they copied "suzhu" as "sushu" - they copied "munai" as "muna" - and joined them together as "sushumuna". Let us not fight over this. Let yoga remain an Indian art for the whole world. But let us not forget our roots.

What is sad is that not many of us are aware of our legacy. Our schools do not teach us about our own legacy. We learn about shakespeare as a great dramatist. How many of us know that "silapadhikaram" - a tamil classic was a complete drama. It even goes to the extent of defining how big a stage should be - how wide it should be - how actors should dress up etc... Shakespeare is only 400 years old - but silapadhikaram is almost 2000 years old!!!

In the field of architecture - our temples have no equal in the whole world. Tanjore temple with a 80 ton stone atop its structure is a feat that cannot be achieved even by today's cranes. Its shadow does not fall on the ground at any point of time.... how many such structures exist in the world today???  Angkor wat is also a proof of our architecture.

I have just given examples from medicine, spirituality, drama/literature, architecture...  the achievements of the tamil people - our forefathers are astounding. Let us learn about it and feel proud to belong to a tradition that was a torch-bearer to today's civilizations. Let our kids learn tamil and become scholars and SCIENTISTS :-)

Principles of an Eagle

Ever since I was I child, I have always heard the phrase “Fly High.” When I got to college, I heard that more often since our school symbol is a blue eagle.  What is up with birds? I am one of those who envy their ability to fly. However, we can metaphorically fly towards something. In order to do so, we must understand how things are done by birds. And if we want to aim high, we must look into how the eagle does its flight. 

I got a qoute through SMS saying “ When it rains, all the birds fly for shelter. But eagles alone  avoid the rain by flying above the clouds.” It looked at the attitude of eagles against the rain. It never hide from the problem. What it does is face the problem head on and find an alternative solution to the problem - by going higher than the problem. It will never be able to do that if it ran for shelter the moment it drizzled.

I got curious so I wanted to verify this. I talked to Google and I stumbled upon “7 Principles of an Eagle” in www.eolutosin.com written by Emmanuel Oluwatosin.

I was motivated by  Principle #2, #4, #5 and #6. Enjoy learning from our winged co-creature up in the sky. The author mentioned how we can apply this to our daily lives.

PRINCIPLE  1: Eagles fly alone at high altitude and not with sparrows or other small birds. No other bird can go to the height of the eagle. Stay away from sparrows and ravens. Eagles fly with Eagles.

PRINCIPLE 2: Eagles have strong vision. They have the ability to focus on something up to five kilometers away. When an eagle sites his prey, he narrows his focus on it and set out to get it. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it. Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacle and you will succeed.

PRINCIPLE 3: Eagles do not eat dead things. They feed only on fresh prey. Vultures eat dead animals, but eagles will not. Be careful with what you feed your eyes and ears with, especially in movies and on TV. Steer clear of outdated and old information. Always do your research well.

PRINCIPLE 4: Eagles love the storm. When clouds gather, the eagles get excited. The eagle uses the storm’s wind to lift it higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagles uses the raging storm to lift him above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the leaves and branches of the trees. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers relish challenges and use them profitably.

PRINCIPLE 5: The Eagle tests before it trusts. When a female eagle meets a male and they want to mate, she flies down to earth with the male pursuing her and she picks a twig. She flies back into the air with the male pursuing her. Once she has reached a height high enough for her, she lets the twig fall to the ground and watches it as it falls. The male chases after the twig. The faster it falls, the faster he chases it. He has to catch it before it falls to the ground. He then brings it back to the female eagle.

The female eagle grabs the twig and flies to a higher altitude and then drops the twig for the male to chase. This goes on for hours, with the height increasing until the female eagle is assured that the male eagle has mastered the art of catching the twig which shows commitment. Then and only then, will she allow him to mate with her. Whether in private life or in business, one should test commitment of people intended for partnership.

PRINCIPLE 6: The Eagle Prepares for Changes: When ready to lay eggs, the female and male eagle identify a place very high on a cliff where no predators can reach. The male flies to earth and picks thorns and lays them on the crevice of the cliff, then flies to earth again to collect twigs which he lays in the intended nest. He flies back to earth and picks thorns laying them on top of the twigs. He flies back to earth and picks soft grass to cover the thorns. When this first layering is complete the male eagle runs back to earth and picks more thorns, lays them on the nest; runs back to get grass it on top of the thorns, then plucks his feathers to complete the nest. The thorns on the outside of the nest protect it from possible intruders. Both male and female eagles participate in raising the eagle family. She lays the eggs and protects them; he builds the nest and hunts. During the time of training the young ones to fly, the mother eagle throws the eaglets out of the nest. Because they are scared, they jump into the nest again.

Next, she throws them out and then takes off the soft layers of the nest, leaving the thorns bare When the scared eaglets again jump into the nest, they are pricked by thorns. Shrieking and bleeding they jump out again this time wondering why the mother and father who love them so much are torturing them. Next, mother eagle pushes them off the cliff into the air. As they shriek in fear, father eagle flies out and catches them up on his back before they fall and brings them back to the cliff. This goes on for sometime until they start flapping their wings. They get excited at this newfound knowledge that they can fly.

The preparation of the nest teaches us to prepare for changes; The preparation for the family teaches us that active participation of both partners leads to success; The being pricked by the thorns tells us that sometimes being too comfortable where we are may result into our not experiencing life, not progressing and not learning at all. The thorns of life come to teach us that we need to grow, get out of the nest and live on. We may not know it but the seemingly comfortable and safe haven may have thorns. The people who love us do not let us languish in sloth but push us hard to grow and prosper. Even in their seemingly bad actions they have good intentions for us.

PRINCIPLE 7: The Eagle Knows when to Retire: When an Eagle grows old, his feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast as he should. When he feels weak and about to die, he retires to a place far away in the rocks. While there, he plucks out every feather on his body until he is completely bare. He stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, then he can come out. We occasionally need to shed off old habits & items that burden us without adding to our lives.

GOD OR GURU?

I received deeksha and upadesam (loosely translated - it means a "gift" and "teaching") from my Guru Sivayogi Sivakumar at yogakudil on 1-3-2015. You can click his name and know more about him and if God willing - come closer to God realization with his help and blessing.

Yesterday, I participated in a meditation camp (NDY - Nithyananda Dhyana Yoga). I normally would not have participated but for my brother's insistence. It was a mediation camp to activate all your chakras (energy centres). The program went on as usual. The "sanyasi" who came to teach - was teaching lessons and exercises for activating various chakras. 

After lunch, I was waiting outside the hall to get inside - my brother came with an old man - and told me that the old man had a knee problem. It was obvious that the old man was in heavy pain bcos he was limping very badly. Before even i could say anything, the old man started narrating his attempts at healing this - he labelled it as "osteo-arthritis" - he has tried allopathy - a ortho specialist - homeo medicines etc. Before he could finish, my brother intervened and told him - "sir, u dont need to narrate - he will tell you your problems - just by checking your pulse". 

(My brother is over enthusiastic because he has seen God's wonders happen right in front of his eyes. (FROZEN SHOULDER,  KNEE PAIN)  The one that impressed him was the case of a 30 year old guy who had hemiplegia - or what is commonly known as paralysis - and whose hand was not functional for almost two years. And within two minutes, right in front of everyone' eyes - God made his hand functional. Even that guy was surprised - he found out where i was staying in a nearby village- and came there by cycle to thank me and to know if his leg also could be restored in a similar quick fashion.)

Sorry for the digression. I checked the old man's pulse - and i could see that he had stomach issues - and nothing else major. He was wearing a knee support brace or knee band. I asked him to remove that and never to use that. It severely restricts blood flow. I treated him for about a minute - and then asked him if he still felt the pain. The old man got up - and immediately said - "the pain is gone..." he stretched his legs - walked, jumped and ran down a few steps - and started saying "how did you do it - its a miracle". I asked him to thank God - and went inside the hall for the next session. I dont know his name nor does he know my name. Even inside the hall - he was telling one or two people about this "miracle". This landed me in trouble!!!

After the day's sessions were over, just before leaving, one of the volunteers of Nithyananda approached me in the evening - and told me 

"sir - please do not feel bad. We are taking people in a certain way - we are also into healing - please do not use this forum to spread your way of healing or acupuncture" (Why? Because Nithyananda also uses acupuncture points - but claims DIVINE HEALING POWER!!! If people like me also heal in a similar fashion, then their carefully erected edifice will collapse)

I did not want to create a scene - so i simply went downstairs.

While talking there with the organizing couple, this same volunteer came once again and repeated the same message in different words. This time, since we were not near a crowd, I told him that i did not approach anyone; i did not profit by taking a fee; i do not even know the old man's name - I did a good deed - and there should be no problem in doing a good deed. I cannot refuse to treat someone who is in pain. His answer was 

"if you want to do something like this, you please create an ambience like this, invite people and then heal them. please do not do it here"

It sounded reasonable. Doesnt it?

What is wrong in this volunteer telling me this? Nothing - right?

I beg to differ.

Spreading spirituality is not a business. Therefore, anyone who does what you want to do - should be welcomed. If i have ten jobs on hand, and suddenly someone volunteers to do 5 of them, i should be happy or sad?

Healing is done ONLY BY GOD. All of us can only treat. Whether it is the volunteer or me or Nithyananda - it does not matter. GOD ALONE HEALS. In his eagerness and devotion to his Guru, the volunteer forgot that he was helping Nithyananda "to do God's work". Over a simple question of God or Guru, this volunteer chose Guru over God. That's what pained me. Even after practising spiritual exercises for a few years - he could not see that devotion to his guru was only a ladder to "devotion to GOD". 

If God's work is done anywhere, let us support it. Gurus are transient - God alone is permanent. Devotion and surrender to one's Guru is noble - but only as long as it remains a path to God. If devotion to Guru blinds us from seeing God's creative action - then that devotion to Guru has to be kicked out. If a Guru blocks the view and does not enable his disciples to see God - then even that Guru has to thrown out. Spirituality is not a private property of a few people and God's magnificent creative work cannot be appropriated by a few alone. And no one should have the arrogance to dictate when and where and through whom God can act. We are all God's instruments - and if he commands us to act in a certain way - we should act - irrespective of all opposition.

'Can we forgive the pathologist who wrongly labelled a healthy person as a diabetic patient for receiving the favour of the referring physician and possibly for a few thousand rupees?'

'The delinquent homeopath who caused a cataract in a child by giving terribly wrong drug must go to jail.'

'How can we permit a gynaecologist to practice her/his specialty if s/he tinkers with the faith of the patient in an abhorrent way?'

'Paying money does not guarantee good healthcare. The private healthcare system largely treats patients as revenue generators,' crusading doctor Dr Arun Gadre tells Dr K S Parthasarathy.

We know that some medical policies and many medical practices in India are deeply flawed. We have heard of 'widespread examples of irrational drug prescribing, kickbacks for referrals, and unnecessary investigations and surgical procedures.'

However, the details revealed by Dr Arun Gadre, a gynaecologist from Maharashtra, in theBritish Medical Journal after interviewing 78 doctors from across India is very disturbing, shameful, and distressing.

The 'Personal View' in the journal reflects the conclusions in his Marathi book, Kaifiyat -- Pramanik Doctoranchi (Reflections by Sincere Doctors) based on the testimonies of these doctors.

This book went into two editions (September 2014 and October 2014). Dr Gadre may publish an English version shortly.

The book lists many malpractices. Some doctors get Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 for referring patients for angioplasty. Of the 150 doctors contacted, only three were willing to refer patients without kickbacks.

Another diabolic practice is followed by some gynaecologists. They perform ultrasounds without indications in pregnant women who complain of trivial abdominal pain, then fabricate false reports of cervical abnormalities and advice the women to have cervical stitches, with the pretext of preventing miscarriage!

Patients seldom go for a second opinion. The delinquent doctor does not give them any documents to avoid being found out.

Another tragic example is that of homeopaths who give little girls corticosteroids for red eyes; long term use lead to cataracts that required surgery.

Over prescription of a battery of tests is very common even when there is no suspicion of pathology. A shocking practice was what a pathologist referred to as the 'sink test'.

"Only a few of the tests are performed, and the extra blood collected is dumped in the sink. Fabricated results are given in the normal range for all tests that were not performed. The patient pays a large sum, which is shared by the referring doctor and the pathologist," Dr Gadre discovered.

In Maharashtra, many homeopaths and doctors trained in Ayurveda practice allopathy with the cursory knowledge imparted by medical representatives.

A few years ago I discovered that the young physicians taking care of heart patients in an ICU in Navi Mumbai were all fresh graduates in Ayurveda. Then they were working for a pittance; once their 'training' in such a hospital is over they can go back to locations outside the city and carry on allopathic practice legally.

Some pathologists label healthy persons as diabetic patients making them dependent on the referring doctor for life!

"These interviews indicated the alarming extent of the deterioration of rationality and ethics in India's private medical sector and the need for stringent, transparent, and mandatory regulation," Dr Gadre warned.

"These interviews underscore one fact -- paying money does not guarantee good healthcare. The private healthcare system largely treats patients as revenue generators, without rationality or medical logic," he added.

Swine FLU or Swine and FLU

The other name for ordinary flu is “swine flu”!

Let us start with this bold statement and slowly proceed towards proving it. Allopathy or commonly known as English Medicine was born in England and propped up for growth by America. Most of the influential global pharma companies are based out of these two countries and in their “allies”.

Even if 70% of Indians (70 crore Indians approximately) are frightened and buy a single tablet for 40 rupees, these companies will earn more than 70 x 40 = 2800 crores in a single day!!! If these Indians are told to eat these tablets once a day for a whole month, then the profit is (2800 x 30) a whopping 74,000 crores!!! The total annual health budget of India is somewhere around 25,000 crores only. By creating a scare, almost 3 years of our money that could be spent on all kinds of diseases is sucked away in just a month - for a single disease.

We have not yet included the amount of money that is spent on test equipments, testing chemicals/medicines and training cost of all medical personnel. We have not yet included the amount of money that every taluk and district and state spends in spreading awareness of these “scary” diseases. If all of these are included, then the amount taken away from India will easily be three times as much. Just to refresh – 74000 x 3 = 2,22,000 crores!!! IN A SINGLE MONTH!!!

All that these companies need to do is to create a panic among the people once in a while and rob India of so much wealth. They will keep inventing newer diseases – relentlessly keep announcing it in the media – frighten everyone and laugh their way to their banks.  Later on, if we are an intelligent nation, we will realize that we have been fooled on a scale that is wilder than our worst imagination.

We have had constant scares – rat flu, monkey flu, dengue, chickengunya, saars, bird flu, aids, ebola etc… I am sure I have missed out many more animal names (sorry - flu names!!!) and artificial scares. Every disease was portrayed as a plague or a pandemic – later on to be whittled down as not so dangerous. But the fear that was generated was enough for these companies to dump their ordinary medicines at extraordinary prices on gullible governments and reap enormous profits. They got rewarded for quackery because the medicines that they peddled DID NOT cure any of the diseases. As per CDC website, the total number of people who died because of swine flu from 2002 to 2009 is only 12 – around the globe.

The modus operandi is very simple.

1. Announce that a new disease has been discovered and make the people believe this new disease is spreading fast.
2. Make the people believe that the companies are working at a fast pace to invent a medicine for the said disease.
3. Make sure that news about the disease and the possible medicines are noisily announced in the media – thus create a hype.
4. Announce the discovery of a medicine – say that it is on a trial phase – say that the quantity is insufficient.
5. At the same time, keep announcing that a lot of people are dying because of the disease.
6. When people invade the pharmacies and hospitals for the medicine, peddle ordinary medicines under new packaging at super profit prices.
7. Do this on a global scale.
8. Repeat this for a new disease and start from step 1

We have seen the same scenario repeated for a lot of diseases – but upto now – no medicine has been invented for any of the scary diseases that were announced (rat flu, monkey flu, dengue, chickengunya, saars, bird flu, aids, ebola etc.)

Phase one is the selling of ordinary medicines at exorbitant prices.  But there is an undesired consequence to this phase. People will not be cured – even after taking these medicines. What to do now? What could be the answer if some people start questioning – why is the disease not cured even after taking the medicines? The answer is very simple : the drugs are on trial phase (meaning it is not a complete cure) – and probably the virus responsible for the disease has become resistant to our medicines!!! Managing and justifying the deceitful medicine and its consequences is phase two.

With respect to swine flu, whoever is not cured even after taking tamiflu and zanamvir, should start believing that the virus is more powerful than the drugs!!! Yes – you should believe it. Please do not laugh. You just have to believe that you have a stronger virus. Why would you be stupid enough to believe that the drugs did not work??? 

Instead of by-hearting the name of the virus, people should rebel against the companies which cheated them when the people were very vulnerable. The governments should demand their money back for misleading them. The companies should be taken to court for wreaking havoc on public health on false grounds. They should be made to prove that their medicines are capable of curing the said disease. If they are not able to prove, then they should be held guilty for cheating the public on a grand scale. They should be made to pay back every penny that they wrongfully robbed across the globe.

• Allopathy does not know the reason for swine flu.

We should be total idiots to believe that the virus came from pigs. If the virus came from the pigs – it should have come hundreds of years ago – because pigs and men have co-existed under filthier circumstances for a very long time. Today’s awareness about hygiene levels in farms did not exist a few hundred years ago.

Allopathy does not know how swine flu spreads.

Since they don’t know the reason – they ask you to wear masks. A person with even ordinary knowledge of science will know that the virus can easily pass through a surgical mask. Of course, the virus will not get into your nose through the sides of the mask. Why should it?!!! Don’t you know that viruses travel in straight lines only!!! Why they wear it even during surgery is a complete mystery – and it is much more mysterious to wear it against a virus. It is equivalent to trying to block sea water with fishing net!!!

Since they don’t know the reason – they want you to keep washing your hands with soap. Can soaps kill virus? Can every brand of soap kill virus? Can unbranded soap kill virus? 

Moreover, if the virus spreads through air – then how can washing hands help? Should we not wash the air and our nose? The last time i checked, human beings inhaled air through their nose only - and not through their hands. Through some quirk of nature, does washing hands block the virus in your nose? 

Hundreds of thousands of money exchanges hands everyday… but the virus will not spread through these notes and coins!!!!

Since they don’t know the reason – they want you to keep a distance of at least one meter from other people. Why? Don’t you know that the virus cannot travel more than one meter?!!! Yet we see people huddling together in public places like railway station, bus stations, banks, hotels, queues – people keep eating food from hotels – people keep eating even pork (remember that it is swine flu) – and yet these people do not get affected. Get into a general compartment in any Indian train and try to maintain a distance of 1 meter from your neighbor!!! You will be lucky if you manage to maintain a few centimeters. Try to manage a 1 meter distance from your neighbor in any of the sub-urban trains in Mumbai or Kolkatta!!! Despite people travelling so close to each other, they don’t get infected. Probably the virus is not so strong in public places? Or is it that these viruses have taken a resolution not to attack people travelling in trains?

Since they don’t know the reason – they want you to stay at home. But at the same breath, they will also ask you to seek medical help. Why should you seek medical help when it is a world known truth that there is no medicine for swine flu (or for even ordinary flu)?

Since they don't know the reason, they want you to "cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue when coughing and sneezing". Why? Will Coughing and sneezing spread the virus ? Many of us would believe so. Let me ask you this... this virus has travelled from continent to continent bcos they have announced that it has strains of american swine - european swine and human strain too. Should we believe that a virus which can travel such long distances cares for the push from a cough or a sneeze to attack your neighbour? Can a disposable tissue stop a virus? If you cover your mouth completely - can you sneeze or will you choke? Try covering your mouth completely the next time you sneeze!!!

This virus supposedly travelled from America to Europe and landed in India. Why did it skip all the countries in between? Was the visa application rejected? Why did this virus not attack the middle east especially Iraq - which is in a pathetic state with hardly any medical institutions now or Russia or China or war torn Afghanistan?

3.       Allopathy does not have any medicine for swine flu.

Every medicine that is peddled is unproven. Since the reason for the disease is not known, no company on earth can “bio-engineer” or invent a cure against the virus/flu.

Allopathy announced that the tests for swine flu will take a minimum of two days to 6 days for confirmation. But when people started invading the labs and hospitals for tests, demand outstripped supply. Hence, even private labs were allowed to test. And these labs were not charitable organizations. They hiked up the testing rates in proportion to the panic created. In Tamilnadu, the government announced "testing rate" is around Rs 3000/= but the labs do charge double this amount. When even private labs could not cater to the demand in quick time, people were asked to take tamiflu even without testing. 
To hell with testing…. Take a costly medicine even for a simple flu. Who knows, it could be swine flu. ( It is equivalent to saying “transplant your heart now for even slight chest pain, who knows your heart could fail”) Why try to determine the cause, when you can take a cautious approach? Of course, allopathy is a scientific system of medicine – it has a reputation for finding out the cause of your disease through elaborate lab tests!!! (It is as if they say - "All those who spent a lot of money on testing for swine flu – were fools. We are happy with the money they gave us. They should have taken the medicine directly – it would have been cheaper". )

Even after taking tamiflu and zanamvir – people died because of swine flu. All those who died took these pills only. This should open our eyes to the fact that these medicines are totally useless.

When a person dies even after taking medicines – one of the reasons given was “he could have had other diseases; he could have died because of them”. 

For such a shameless answer, here are some interesting questions :

1.       Why did you give medicine without determining his state of health and the presence of other diseases?
2.       Did you not know that the medicines could aggravate the other diseases?
3.       If medicines could aggravate the other diseases, isn’t it possible that the patient died only because of the medicines and not because of the swine flu?
4.       You want the government to take harsh steps against quacks that pretend as doctors. If you give medicine without determining the cause, are you not a quack too?
5.       Every medicine has a side effect. Why have you not yet announced the side effects of tamiflu?
6.       What are the possible diseases that could attack all those who took tamiflu now?
7.       Are you going to say that tamiflu does not have any side effects at all?

Gentlemen/women – please pass this on. There is no swine flu – but group of swine behind this flu. I wouldn’t blame the doctors who are unconscious puppets in a system that thrives on scare tactics. 

When all the symptoms are similar to an ordinary flu, the doctors should have the courage to ask – “in what way is this swine flu different from an ordinary flu?” There is only stupid honour in such a question but no money.

உடலெனும் பிரபஞ்சம்

               ஐம் பூதங்களின் மொத்த உருவே பிரபஞ்சம். இதுபோல் மனித உடலும் ஐம் பூதங்களால் ஆன சிறிய பிரபஞ்சம் என்கிறார்கள் சித்தர்கள். இதைத்தான் அண்டத்தில் உள்ளதே பிண்டத்திலும் உள்ளது என்கின்றனர்.

மண்ணின் கூறுகள்

எலும்பு, தோல், நரம்பு, தசை, மயிர் இவை அனைத்தும் மனித உடம்பின் மண் கூறு கொண்டவை.

மண்ணில் மண் சேர்ந்ததால் உருவானதுதான் எலும்பு என்றும், மண்ணுடன் நீர் சேர்ந்து உருவானது தசை என்றும், மண்ணுடன் நெருப்பு சேர்ந்து உருவானது தோல் என்றும், மண்ணுடன் வாயு சேர்ந்து உருவானது நரம்பு என்றும், மண்ணுடன் ஆகாயம் சேர்ந்து உருவானது மயிர் என்றும் குறிப்பிடுகின்றனர்.

நீரின் கூறு (புனலின் கூறு)

நீரின் தன்மை கொண்டவை இரத்தம், விந்து (வெந்நீர்), சிறுநீர், மூளை, கொழுப்பு. 

நீருடன் நீர் சேர்ந்து வெளியேறுவது சிறுநீர் என்றும், நீருடன் மண் (பிருத்திவி) சேர்ந்து உருவானதுதான் உமிழ்நீர் என்றும், நீருடன் நெருப்பு சேர்ந்துதான் வியர்வையானது எனவும், நீருடன் வாயு சேர்ந்துதான் இரத்தம் (குருதி, செந்நீர்) உண்டானது எனவும், நீரின் கூறுடன் ஆகாயம் சேர்வதால் உருவானதுதான் சுக்கிலம் எனப்படும் விந்து எனவும் சித்தர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளனர்.

நெருப்பின் கூறு

உணவு, தூக்கம், அச்சம், சேர்க்கை, சோம்பல் முதலியவை நெருப்பின் கூறாகும். நெருப்பை தேயு (தீ) என அழைக்கின்றனர்.

நெருப்பு கூறுடன் நெருப்பு சேரும்போது தூக்கம் ஏற்படுகிறது எனவும், நெருப்புடன் மண் சேரும் போது பசி உருவாகிறது எனவும், நெருப்புடன் நீர் சேரும்போது தாகம் ஏற்படுகிறது எனவும், நெருப்புடன் வாயு சேரும்போது அச்சம், சோம்பல் உருவாகிறது எனவும், நெருப்புடன் ஆகாயம் சேரும்போது ஆசை, சேர்க்கை உருவாகிறது எனவும் குறிப்பிடுகின்றனர்.

வளியின் (காற்று) கூறு

ஓடல், நடத்தல், நிற்றல், உட்காருதல், படுத்தல்.

வாயுவுடன் வாயு சேரும்போது ஓடுதல் நடைபெறும் என்றும், வாயுவின் கூறுடன் மண் (பிருத்திவி) சேரும்போது படுத்தல் எனவும், வாயுடன் நீர் சேரும்போது நடத்தல் நடைபெறும் என்றும், வாயுவுடன் நெருப்பு இணையும்போது உட்காருதல் நிகழும் என்றும் வாயுவுடன் ஆகாயம் சேரும்போது தாண்டுதல், குதித்தல் நடைபெறும் என்றும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளனர்.

விண்ணின் (ஆகாயம்) கூறு

இன்பம் (காமம்), உட்பகை (குரோதம்), ஈயாமை (உலோபம்), பெருவேட்கை (மோகம்), கொழுப்பு (மதம்)

விண்ணின் தன்மையுடன் ஆகாயம் சேரும்போது மோகம் உண்டாவதாகவும், ஆகாயத்துடன் மண் சேரும்போது இராகம் உருவாவதாகவும், ஆகாயத்துடன் நீர் சேரும்போது துவேசம் ஏற்படுவதாகவும், ஆகாயத்துடன் நெருப்பு இணையும்போது பயம் உருவாவதாகவும், ஆகாயத்துடன் வாயு சேரும்போது நாணம் ஏற்படுவதாகவும் குறிப்பிடுகின்றனர்.

மனித உடலில் ஐம்பூதங்களின் செயல்பாடுகளை சித்தர்கள் இவ்வாறு விளக்கியுள்ளனர்.

மண்ணின் தன்மையால் மயிர் வளர்கிறது. எலும்பு வலுவடைகிறது. நரம்புகள் அதிக வேகத்துடன் செயல்படுகின்றன. தசைகள் இறுக்கம் கொள்கின்றன.

இவ்வாறு பஞ்ச பூதங்களின் செயல்பாடுகளால் தான் மனித உடல் உருக்கொண்டுள்ளதாக சித்தர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

இதே கருத்தையே ஆன்மீகம் தெரிவிக்கிறது. சைவ சமயத்தில் பஞ்ச பூதங்களுக்கும் கோவில்கள் அமைத்துள்ளனர்.
